Simple Summary: DotDay does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your personal information. Calendar and contact data is accessed through Apple's frameworks and stays on your device and in your iCloud account.

Information Collection and Use

DotDay is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect any personal information from users of the app. DotDay is a free app that does not sell your data and does not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Calendar Access

DotDay uses Apple's EventKit framework to read and create events in calendars you already use. This requires your explicit permission, which you can grant or revoke at any time in your device's Settings.

Calendar data lives in Apple's Calendar and iCloud systems according to your Apple ID settings — not on servers we operate.

Contacts Access

If you use "Choose from Contacts" when adding a location to an event, DotDay reads contact data only to help you pick an address. This access follows Apple's Contacts permission rules and can be turned off in your device's Settings at any time. Contact data is never stored or transmitted by DotDay.

Preferences synced via iCloud Key-Value Store are part of Apple's iCloud infrastructure and subject to Apple's iCloud privacy policy. This data is never accessible to us or any third parties outside of Apple's systems.
